As I spend most of my pregnancy and (hopefully) at least six months of nursing wearing nothing but nursing bras, it’s important to find ones you love. I have always been a huge Bravado fan and I am super in love with the brand’s latest edition, the Essential Embrace Nursing Bra.
Essential Embrace provides one-of-a-kind comfort and a great shape for the expectant or nursing mom. The bra is lightweight and wire-free, yet strong and supportive – even to an L/M cup. The best part is the slimming back panels to smoothe unwanted bulges and helps prevent visible bra lines.
I think this is by far the brand’s most flattering bra and as sexy as a proper, comfortable nursing bra can really get. Bravado also has a bra conversion kit, which gives mom the option to convert her Bravado nursing bra to a “regular bra” once she’s completed her nursing journey. This can extend the life of Bravado nursing apparel, so you can continue to wear your Bravado bras.
Like most nursing bras — although there are certainly some on the market — Bravado products are not organic cotton. However, the company was recently OEKO-TEX® Standard 1000 certified for sustainable textile production.
