Giveaway: YoKids and Stonyfield Gift Pack for Lunchtales Promotion

When I was a kid all I wanted for lunch was Kraft Lunchables – and I was lucky enough that my mother wouldn’t let me have them. They are uniformly shaped crackers with processed meats and cheeses that kids can stack in assorted variations. Recently someone posted a parody on the product with the tagline, “Mom Gave Up.”

Instead, I got to keep a brown paper bag with a soggy tuna fish on Wonder Bread sandwich in a locker for several hours. Somehow I narrowly avoided botulism. Fortunately, today’s parents are much better informed and have healthier options readily available – at least when it comes to packing lunch. The lunches served in school cafeterias are a whole other story.

In light of National Take Your Parents to Lunch Day presented by YoKids and Kiwi Magazine on October 17, the brands recently launched a campaign called “Lunchtales. The campaign is designed to help parents learn about healthier school lunches and take action to bring healthier school lunches to their schools. Submit your funny or bizarre stories about school lunches by September 30 for a chance to win coupons and a grand prize of $2,500!

You can also win a special lunch-themed giveaway right here! Enter below for a chance to win a Stonyfield-branded Preserve sandwich container filled with 10 FREE YoKids coupons (Valued at $45).
