Giveaway: Win An Annies Organic Rising Crust Pizza

There are two kinds of pizza in my house.

There is the incredibly delicious but decidedly unhealthy and un-organic Santucci’s square pizza that is the official favorite food of all household members. We order it far more than we should.

Then there is the pizza that my husband makes for himself when I’m not around for dinner. It is truly an abomination – Boboli crust covered with jar sauce and decorated with barbeque sauce and yellow pepper relish. The smell is so vile he is only allowed to make it when I am away. And then he feeds it to my child.

So I was excited about the opportunity to try Annie’s Organic Rising Crust Pizza and attempt a healthier household pizza tradition. We’ve long been a fan of Annie’s products, with Chedder Bunnies and Mac and Cheese being toddler diet staples.

We were pretty impressed with how the pizza turned out. It was no Santucci’s for sure, but it beat the hell out of Digiorno. Certainly something to be added to the quick fix organic meals pantry.

Annie’s Organic Rising Crust Pizza is available in four flavors, including Uncured Pepperoni, Four Cheese, Supreme, and Spinach & Mushroom. It’s ready to eat in 25 minutes or less with a crispier or softer crust depending on how you bake it. Annie’s Organic Rising Crust Pizza is available in the freezer aisle at Whole Foods. And it’s got a $2 off coupon in The Whole Deal this month.
