Last week I had the opportunity to host a book signing at one of New York’s hippest spots for greener parenting, Metro Minis. The amazing group of motivating mamas in attendance included actress and celebrity green mom Alysia Reiner; Nancy Massotto, founder of Holistic Moms Network; Bettina Forbes, founder of theBest for Babes Foundation; Marvelous Kiddo blogger Leigh Pennebaker; and Penelope Jaggesar Chaffer, producer of Toxic Baby. If I were to create a roundtable of the most prominent women working for a safer and greener world, these five women would be at the top of my list.
