That’s the thing about printing nonfiction – information can change when the ink is barely dry. Fortunately, most of the information in my book is evergreen. But when it comes to new studies, new worries, and new resources, it can be a daily struggle to keep up.
Over the past year, I’ve used my blog and social media to engage readers and experts, answering your questions on everything from leaching plastics and phony farm stands to organic dairy discounts.
Staying on top of the trends and tribulations has allowed me to work on an updated version of Spit That Out: The Overly Informed Parent’s Guide to Raising Children in the Age of Environmental Guilt, planned for release before the end of 2011.
