Enjoy Guilt-Free Local Corn and Blueberries in December

I adore my summer and fall Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share. But I never bother with the winter shares of root veggies, still yearning the summer fruits I know I shouldn’t buy imported from across the country and beyond.

So I was thrilled to find out about the Winter Sun Farms Philadelphia launch. This five-month CSA program beginning this month provides summer vegetables and fruits, flash frozen at the height of the growing season, and distributes them during the winter months. Busy folks can open packages of cleaned, cut, and “pot ready” vegetables and fruits in the middle of winter, all produced and grown within 150-200 miles of Philadelphia on small- and medium-sized farms. Each share includes a bonus fresh vegetable or fruit item each month sourced from a local farm.

A handful of shares still remain, so act fast! For more information on share options, content, pricing, and distribution points, visit online.
